Welcome to Way Barton, a listed Grade II early 18th Century country house built on the site of an ancient Barton in North Devon and approached down an Ash tree lined drive. Set in its own 40 acre estate Way Barton has an acre carp lake and superb equestrian facilities within the grounds. To improve our carbon footprint we have planted over 6000 trees.

The house has 3 tastefully decorated en suite double rooms all with flat screen TV's and free WiFi providing the very best in B&B accommodation. With its guest lounge and bespoke Orangery, guests can enjoy a tranquil break in a relaxing environment where you can stroll down to the lake and enjoy seeing the local wildlife. On colder days you can relax in front of an open fire in the Chummery or read the papers or a good book in the Orangery overlooking its own walled garden.

Breakfast is served in either the Chummery or the Dining Room and we pride ourselves in serving delicious cooked breakfasts, using our neighbour's eggs, Mr Mack's home grown tomatoes (when available ) our own home made preserves and Pam's marmalades and other locally produced products sourced from local farmers and our local farm shop, Mole Valley Farmers.

We are located between the magnificent Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, near the ancient civil war town of Great Torrington, and close to the market towns of Barnstaple (12 miles), Bideford (12 miles) and South Molton (13 miles).

Ideally located to explore and enjoy our beautiful North Devon countryside, historic towns and sandy beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe.

Way Barton Bed & Breakfast is best suited for non smoking grownups

For horse owners we can provide full livery for anyone bringing their own horse with stabling in lodden internal boxes, and use of a 40 by 60 menage and a horse walker.
